Dominic Latkovski began his career in 1990 as Billy Bird, the popular mascot of the Louisville Redbirds of Triple-A Baseball. In 1991, with the help of his brother Brennan, Billy Bird and Company was created. Two years later, they changed the name of their act to BirdZerk! and left their affiliation with the Redbirds behind. Today, BirdZerk! remains on top of baseball's list of entertainment acts.
In 1998, piggy-backing off the success of BirdZerk!, ZOOperstars! was created. Today, performing over 200 shows each year, BirdZerk! and ZOOperstars! are undeniably two of the most popular traveling entertainment acts around!
As the popularity of BirdZerk! and ZOOperstars! grew, so did the company. In 2001, operating with 5 part-time performers, the first full-time office employee was hired. As the two shows' demand on the road became more intense, additional employees were necessary and by 2007, BirdZerk! and ZOOperstars! consisted of 13 part-time employees and 3 full-time employees.
In 2008, the Latkovski brothers joined forces with one of their long-time performers, Artie Harris. This partnership sparked new and exciting opportunities and together the three formed, The Skillville Group.
Now, combining the creative knowledge of the three partners and all employees of the company, The Skillville Group has grown into a powerhouse of entertainment! In addition to housing BirdZerk! and ZOOperstars!, The Skillville Group specializes in developing, managing and booking numerous acts in the world of entertainment. The Skillville Group is a company of wild and crazy ideas, creating a chaotic combustion of talent that is constantly making exciting discoveries.
